Beginning Sept. 1, MD Anderson will move to a Paid Time Off (PTO) program that offers you flexibility in scheduling your time away from work. PTO programs combine your vacation days, personal and sick time and floating holidays into one "bank," from which you withdraw as needed. The new program also will include a short-term disability income protection benefit to bridge the gap between sick pay and long-term disability. Note that this program does not apply to the educational appointments (Post-Doctoral, pre-doctoral, clinical fellows).. It does apply to faculty and classified employees.
