Postdoctoral Position in Cancer Therapy and Molecular Signaling
A postdoctoral position is available immediately to conduct preclinical studies using nanoparticles for cancer therapy and investigate molecular signaling of anticancer agents at the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. The studies involve formulation and testing of nanoparticles containing tumor suppressor genes, siRNA’s and small molecules for therapy. Additionally, molecular studies involving signal transduction and cellular apoptosis will be investigated. Highly motivated and interactive colleagues with Ph.D. and/or M.D. who are interested in cancer therapy and molecular signaling are encouraged to apply. Experience in one of the following areas is highly preferred: nanoparticle sysnthesis and formulation, molecular biology, signal transduction, and animal tumor models. M. D.
