Description: Research focus in the areas of cancer genetics, cell biology, and immunology.
Eligibility: Independent investigators at the level of Assistant Professor (or equivalent with explanation). Concern will require a letter from the applicant's Department Chair attesting to the applicant's faculty status and to the applicant's status as an independent investigator with independent laboratory space. This will have to be submitted along with the initial Letter of Intent.
Amount: $50,000 one year (subject to continued funding of an additional $50,000 for the second year, based on sufficient progress)

American Society of Clinical Oncology
Title: Young Investigator Award
Deadline: November 7, 2007
Description: To encourage and promote quality research in clinical oncology.
Eligibility: Final-year fellows or first year junior faculty.
Amount: $50,000 (one year)

Eligibility: Clinical investigators in their second, third, or fourth year of a faculty appointment.

Description: Intended to support original research not currently funded.
Eligibility: Clinical oncology researchers involved in investigative work for 5-10 years.
Amount: $450,000 over three (3) years

Translational Research Professorship
LOI Deadline: September 18, 2007
Application Deadline: October 16, 2007
Eligibility: Qualified individuals who are dedicated to bringing advances in basic sciences into the clinical arena and to mentioning other translational researchers.
