Subject:Chemo fatigue?

My Mother is a 78 years old breast cancer patient and she is taking chemo (Xeloda) with mets to the lung area. How can she tell if her fatigue and shortness of breath is related to her age, her cancer, or her chemo treatment?

It is difficult to identify which one is causing it...she needs a thorough evaluation. If she was deconditioned for a while..the shortness of breath could be related to the lung metastasis and lack of physical activity but could also be something else.
