How do I get an appointment with a Geriatrician?  What age is considered geriatric?

You can find a geriatrician at the American Geriatrics Society website or the website of your local geriatrics society. Generally geriatricians will see patients 65 years and older, but most 65 to 75 year old people do not need to see a geriatrician, and geriatricians are quite rare (3.6 for every 10,000 people 75 and older). People 75 and older can be helped by seeing a geriatrician if they have multiple chronic conditions, functional problems, physical disabilities, or problems with depression, memory, or bladder issues, for example.
