Connections: The Alumni and Faculty Association Blog

Established in 1983, the MD Anderson Alumni & Faculty Association is an organization of former and current students, trainees and faculty members of MD Anderson  Cancer  Center. Association membership begins after six months of cumulative faculty, trainee or student activity at MD Anderson.

Mission Statement

The Office of Alumni Affairs aspires to maintain communication and connectivity to all former and current faculty members, students and educational trainees who have worked, trained or received a degree from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Our goal is to continue to create and provide forums and other opportunities to foster fellowship among our current faculty, students and trainees, to enhance communication with alumni and to promote on-going feedback as to how we can continue to improve our work and educational environment.

The Alumni Affairs Office works in tandem with the Alumni Association Steering Committee, which includes members of current and former faculty, students, educational trainees and administrators. This steering committee provides advice and recommendations to the Alumni Affairs Office on events, special awards, receptions, administrative issues and strategic direction.
