Instructions for Navigating the Compliance Certification Report

Welcome

The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center is pleased to submit its Compliance Certification Report for accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) Commission on Colleges.

M.D. Anderson is providing its submission for accreditation in two versions for ease of accessibility – web site and paper copy.

M.D. Anderson's complete submission is available on the Internet located at http://www2.mdanderson.org/sacs. The web site contains the entire Compliance Certification Report as well as most of the supporting documentation in .pdf format. The web site also includes the Signature Page, the Summary Report, the Faculty Credentials Page, the Student Catalogues, and an index with selected documentation.

Hardware and Software You Will Need

In order to read and navigate through M.D. Anderson's electronic submission for accreditation, you will need the following:

  • Computer with Pentium processor
  • An Internet connection (A T1 connection or broadband is recommended but not required.)
  • A standard web browser (Internet Explorer 5.5 (or greater) or Netscape Navigator 6.0 (or greater) is reccommended.)
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0 (Adobe Acrobat Reader is free software available at: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html)

Compliance Certification Report General Navigation Tips

The table of contents page of the Compliance Certification Report links to:

  1. the individual responses for each core requirement, comprehensive standard and federal mandate. Each response indicates the judgment of compliance, M.D. Anderson's rationale for that judgment, and list of supporting documentation.
  2. supporting documentation for each core requirement, comprehensive standard and federal mandate.
