Department of Molecular Therapeutics Description of Position
Section of Signal Transduction - Post Doctoral

Immediate opening is available to work at MD Anderson Cancer Center, a world class cancer center, for postdoctoral fellows on signal transduction to study:
(1) Role of JNK/SAPK activation in drug resistance,
(2) ubiquitin/proteasome and apoptosis signaling pathways.

The candidate, M.D. or Ph.D., should be experienced in molecular biology, cell biology and/or possess knowledge of signal transduction. Excellent analytical skills and strong communication skills are required.

Immediate opening for a postdoctoral fellow to work on (1) apoptosis induced by anti-EGF receptor monoclonal antibodies, or (2) PKB/AKT molecular-targeted therapy for human cancer. The candidate's background should be in the field of molecular biology and cell biology. Knowledge of apoptosis or signal transduction is required. Excellent experimental and analytical skills and strong communication skills are expected.
