Physicians and Chaplains Reflect Together

The year 2008 afforded many avenues for Chaplaincy to partner with the medical faculty of M. D. Anderson as it sought to provide the best of care for the thousands of patients who enter our doors.

One such project included Lois Ramondetta, M.D., associate professor in Gynecologic Oncology; the Rev. David Jenkins, D.Min., director of Chaplaincy; and AnneMarie Wallace, manager of Clinical Chaplaincy Programs, who met to brainstorm ways of providing Gynecologic Oncology residents and fellows an understanding of the multiple, intentional spiritual care approaches that chaplains facilitate during their visits with patients.

Several non-profit representatives will be present to answer questions and share experiences on medical mission trips.

Medical Mission Fair is co-sponsored by the Medical Mission Group and the Department of Chaplaincy. This event is open to employees, volunteers, and general public.
