Spiritual Pathways

Interprofessional spiritual care-the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients' spiritual needs in the context of their physical and emotional needs-is the focus of the 3rd annual Spirituality and Health Care Summer Institute sponsored by the George Washington Institute for Spirituality and Health (GWish). Developed for healthcare professionals of all disciplines, chaplains, educators, administrators, and others who work with patients and their families, the Institute focuses on practice development as well as implementation of the interprofessional spiritual care model in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.
