I have a question.  Has anyone had metastases to lung after radical nephrectomy and had surgery?  I had neprectomy in May, 2006.  In Feb., 2008 solitary mass in my lung was found.  I had surgery to remove it in March 11, 2008 and it turned out to be the kidney cancer.  I was doing better and now almost 2 months later, I am feeling bad again.  The doctor has said this type of surgery takes 3 months to recover from.  Has anyone else had this experience?  My fear of course is that my feeling bad is not the recovery, but rather the cancer spread somewhere else.  I have scans scheduled in June, but it is hard to wait.  I would just like to hear how others have fared after thoractomy.  Thanks

I hope this finds you well. I have just had my left kidney removed 6/13/2008 and have had a very hard recovery. will the pain ever stop ? I am afraid that it will come back also. I am so tired all the time and do not sleep most nights. How can I be positive with all this going on.
