I was diagnosed with penile cancer after a biopsy one week ago. It is still very confusing at this stage as I have heard a number of terms used to discuss my diagnosis including Bowen's Disease and Squamous Cell Cancer In-Situ. I have not had a follow up with the surgeon who did the biopsy as yet but he has referred me to a leading dermotological surgeon in this area, for further consideration of treatment options including use of topical agents. My reading suggests that mohrs surgery is the best way to address this type of cancer.
I would be grateful to anyone who can enlighten me further would.
