Laparoscopy Fellows Survey

We are conducting a survey of SGO members and gynecologic oncology fellows in an effort to identify the amount of laparoscopic surgery being performed in academic centers and in community practice. We also aim to learn about the current indications for this procedure in gynecologic oncology. In addition, we intend to obtain an assessment by current fellows on the level of training in laparoscopic surgery in their respective fellowship programs.

This survey represents an attempt to address our stated goals. The survey should take about five (5) minutes to complete. In order for the results to truly represent the thinking of practicing gynecologic oncologists, it is important that each survey be completed.

You may be assured of complete confidentiality. Your name will not be associated with any responses. The control number on the survey is for mailing purposes only.

The survey will be analyzed by the Office of Education Research and Assessment at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Please complete the questionnaire by December 20, 2002, to ensure that your input will be included in the analysis.

Thank you very much for your help! If you have questions, or if you would like a copy of the summary results, please contact Dr. Marilyn Greer, Education Research and Assessment, at 713-792-7296.
