This system is for requesting refills at MD Anderson pharmacies only.

If you need a prescription renewed for pick-up at MD Anderson, please contact your care center directly. Please give 3-5 days’ notice before you need your medicine.

Prescriptions filled at your neighborhood drug store are now done through ePrescription. This means refills and renewals are handled automatically.

Follow the steps below to request a refill at a MD Anderson pharmacy:

  1. Enter your Medical Record Number (MRN)
    If your Medical Record Number is only six digits, enter a zero followed by your number.
  2. Enter your Prescription Number
    Enter only the numbers, no letters.
  3. Request up to 10 refills
    If you have more than one refill to request, enter the other prescription numbers in the boxes below.
  4. Choose your pharmacy location
    Select which MD Anderson pharmacy you will pick up your refill.
  5. Click  “Send this Request”

You may request a refill at any time. Refills will be processed and available for pick up during normal business hours. Because of limited space, prescriptions are not held beyond six days.

Prescription Processing

Please complete all of the form steps to obtain prescription information. First select the type of prescription processing , then enter the Social Security Number information. Next, specify up to 10 prescriptions which you would like to refill. Then, select the pharmacy where you would like to pick up your medications. Finally, click on the "Send this Request" button to submit your request.

How to file a complaint

You may have a complaint about a pharmacy or pharmacist at MD Anderson. Anyone may file a complaint against a pharmacy or pharmacist licensed by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, but complaints must be received in writing. More information about filing and the complaint process can be found at the Texas State Board of Pharmacy website.
